Tallis is an English singer-songwriter and classically trained pianist whose music blends poetic lyricism with an understated and unconventional musical sensibility.

Influenced by the impressionists Ravel and Debussy, her songwriting also draws on the folk-inflected modal language of Vaughan Williams.

Unflinching and atmospheric, her songs drift through landscapes of love, grief, and remembrance, with quiet intensity.

Inspired by the moods and solitude of the moor, Braille is a haunting musical portrait that bears witness to the trials of love and loss.

The album features cellist India Bourne, known for her collaborations with Ben Howard.
